Sutlijaš

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of rice
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar vanilla
  • 150gr sugar
  • Lemon Zest
  • Cinnamon powder

 

Steps:

  1. Put the rice in a pot, cover it with water and put the pot on fire.
  2. When the water boils, reduce the heat and simmer.
  3. Add a little water until cooked. It is important to stir occasionally to prevent the rice from sticking.
  4. When the rice is cooked and well absorbed by the water, pour slowly the milk and continue to cook.
  5. The rice should absorb all the milk.
  6. Add the sugar and stir over medium to low heat for two minutes. Let it cool.
  7. Place the Sutlijašin a bowl and cover it with a little cinnamon powder.
