Turlitava

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg lamb or any other meat
  • 2 onions
  • 150-200gr Okra
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper ( orred)
  • 2-3 tomatoes or tomato puree (100 ml)
  • 100-150gr peas
  • 150-200gr green beans
  • 4-5 pieces of red potatoes
  • Ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Vegeta
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

 

Steps:

  1. Chop the meat and the carrots, okra, onions, potatoes and peppers and put them in a pottery saucepan alongside the peas and the green beans.
  2. Add salt, pepper and vegeta, stir, then add some oil and water.
  3. Don’t put a lot of water, just a bit so that the turlitava will be soft after cooking.
  4. Put the saucepan in an oven, then cook it at 200°C for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, stir two or three times.
  6. When the meal is ready, be sure that it is golden-red crust.
